This Privacy Policy explains how Live Pricing ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects information when you install and use the Live Pricing app on your Shopify store. Live Pricing helps Shopify merchants discover, review, and monitor matching products sold by other Shopify stores.

1. Information we collect

• Store information: your Shopify shop domain, shop identity, subscription status, and basic settings required to authenticate and operate the app.
• Product catalog data: product and variant details that you choose to sync for monitoring, including titles, handles, images, prices, currencies, and Shopify product or variant identifiers.
• Monitoring settings: target market defaults, notification email, excluded seller domains, selected monitored products, plan usage, and match limits.
• Competitor match data: suggested and merchant-confirmed seller listings, seller domains, product URLs, price observations, currency, availability, refresh status, matching evidence, and alert history.
• Shopify events: we receive store events through Shopify webhooks (app_subscriptions/update, app/uninstalled, and required privacy webhooks) to sync billing status, stop access on uninstall, and process deletion requests.

2. Information we do not collect

Live Pricing does not request or process Shopify customer, buyer, order, payment, checkout, or fulfillment data. The app does not automatically edit your Shopify products, prices, inventory, or storefront content.

3. How we use information

• Authenticate your shop and keep the embedded Shopify admin app working.
• Sync selected catalog data so you can choose products to monitor.
• Discover potential seller listings and let you manually confirm matches.
• Refresh confirmed matches and record price or availability observations.
• Show alerts for price changes, below-store-price listings, and stale matches.
• Enforce usage limits tied to your Shopify subscription plan.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade merchant data. We use Shopify APIs and Shopify catalog services to provide the app, and Cloudflare infrastructure to host, process, and store app data. We may disclose information if required by law.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain store, catalog, monitoring, match, and alert data only as long as needed to operate the app while it is installed. Uninstalling the app disables access and pauses monitoring. We honor Shopify's required privacy webhooks, including customers/data_request, customers/redact, and shop/redact, and remove relevant records after a valid deletion request subject to legal obligations.

6. Security

Shopify access tokens are stored encrypted, and API access is scoped to the permissions required to operate product monitoring. Operational data is processed through infrastructure access controls and transport security.
